Next Steps: Information for Admitted Students
Congratulations on your admission to Saint Augustine’s University! We are excited about you joining us and look forward to you being a part of our community of scholars. Following these steps will help ensure your successful enrollment in the upcoming semester. *Note that all documents must be mailed to the Office of Admissions and will take 7-8 business days to be processed.
To be reviewed for eligibility for state, federal and institutional financial aid such as grants, scholarships, loans, or work study, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (School Code 002968). Contact the Office of Financial Assistance at 919.516.4131 if you have questions.
Upon admission, students will receive an email from the SAU Center for Information Technology (CIT) with instructions on how to set up their SAU email account. If the CIT email is not received within 3 days of receiving an acceptance letter, please contact CIT Support. Please include the full name (first and last) and email address used on the admissions application to avoid delays in resolution.
Saint Augustine’s University utilizes “My Falcon Landing” (Colleague) as our student portal. This portal delivers a student experience that is easy to navigate and gives our students access to all the information related to their student records and their SAU journey that they need to be successful.
My Falcon Landing is web based and will allow students to access and interact with their student record to not only register, but also to view and accept or decline financial aid, view available courses, view and pay bills and much more.
Confirm your plan to enroll at SAU by logging into your Application Portal and submitting your non-refundable enrollment deposit.
Freshman students must pay a $200 enrollment deposit to reserve a spot in the freshman class. You may pay online by credit card or contact the cashier at 919.516.4070 to submit your payment over the phone.
If you would like to live on campus you will be required to complete a housing application, after you submit your enrollment deposit. Please note you must pay the enrollment deposit before the Office of Residence Life will schedule a housing assignment. All housing assignment are based on a first come, first serve basis. Contact the Office of Residence Life if you have not received your housing assignment at 919.516.4326.
Students must be cleared by the Joseph G. Gordon Health Center prior to move in and starting classes. After the SAU email account has been activated, register to upload the required health documents into the health portal.
All entering freshmen students must submit an official high school transcript. Acceptance to the university is provisional upon receipt of the final high school transcript, which includes the date of graduation and official school seal.
Sealed official transcripts may be mailed to SAU Office of Admissions 1315 Oakwood Ave Raleigh, NC 27610. Transcripts may also be submitted electronically directly from the school counselor via email or national clearinghouse chosen by your high school.
Orientation dates are scheduled from midsummer during June & July. All new freshmen students are required to attend this mandatory orientation. During this orientation students will pre-register for classes, finalize submission of financial aid and admissions documents, and receive financial obligations.
